firecall999 Posted 13March, 2020 Report Share Posted 13March, 2020 Hi, Need a new set of rears. Current ones are Michelin Pilot Sport 3 285/30 ZR18. They are totally dead - been on there way out since I got the car, so cant say if I think they are any good or not 🙂 Whats a good recommendation? Just get the same again? The car is a 996 on GT3 alloys. Thanks!

Not at the moment, they seem decent 2 hours ago, Raven said: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S great all round performance tire .. Thanks! RwGreeny Posted 13March, 2020 Report Share Posted 13March, 2020 The pilot sport 4S doesn’t come in 18’s. It’s either pilot sport 4 or Cup 2’s. I’ve put on the PS4 on the 993rs and it’s been a great choice even for spirited drives. I’ve got Cup2’s on a couple of other cars but they aren’t the best for road use and are quite poor in the wet firecall999

Availability was OK, and it has transformed the handling
firecall999 Posted 17March, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 17March, 2020 My tyre guy got back to me, said they were hard to find at that size. Two options: Conti Sports - $480 each fitted Pirelli P-Zero - $500 each fitted I've asked him to see if he can source the Michelin PS2s. and by Tyre guy, I mean Lube Mobile LOL - I called them to see if they could come out and fix the flat - but they couldnt as the tyre is borked :-)
