jameshaydn Posted 8May, 2020 Report Share Posted 8May, 2020 G'day there. I'm chasing up a mesh grill insert for my 997.1 ZunSport do them in the UK but i was hoping for Aus connection somewhere. Or a similar product/quality that can be purchased in Australia. Landed from the UK will set me back over $500 so looking for a little bit of economy Thanks for you help in advance Haydn
Lackofideasforname Posted 8May, 2020 Report Share Posted 8May, 2020 I was thinking to do the same although mechanic specialist said he had never seen stone damage but dirt build up rotting them out. Might just clean it?
GC9911 Posted 8May, 2020 Report Share Posted 8May, 2020 You can buy sheets of grille mesh at Supercheap (it’s $30 or $40 from memory, enough to do 2 cars) & cut it & fit it yourself. I've done a 997.2 & two 991.1s. It’s possible to do it without removing the front skirt, cut a cardboard template for the trial fit & adjust as required. I have posted photos of the process on A thread here somewhere, can’t find it at the moment though. 550Spyder
