6/1998 986 Boxster Part Out (some parts also fit 996.1)

We are parting out a 6/98 2.5l 5sp manual Boxster.  Many parts available including good engine  (cable throttle) - I can send video of car being started today for first time in a week, and then 3 mins after startup.  No idea whether IMS has been replaced, I imagine you would do that before putting the engine into your car, but car runs well.  Seats pretty shabby, but remainder of interior OK, including upgraded stereo with double Din Pioneer head unit, amp and upgraded speakers.  Good passenger door available, Drivers side headlight and front guard, front and rear inner bumpers, bootlid, radiators and lots of trim parts etc.  Manual gearbox available, but currently no drive through unit, when we pull the engine out we will explore reasons for this - clutch ??  etc

Basically car had light damage on passenger side at front.  PO had removed drivers door, frunk lid, front and rear outer bumpers to install on another car.

Obviously many parts interchangeable with 996 1st gen.  Good parts available to assist with repairs to front or rear damage to a Boxster and front of 996.1.
