Dashboard Repair/Reskin

Recommended Posts

Hi All, hope I'm putting this in the right spot...

Cracked dashboards...  I've got an all black oval 944 dash that has the usual cracks.  I have 're-skun' 911 dashes in the past, but looking for advice and or recommendations regarding re-skinning a dash with a pro.  To those that might have used a professional, were you happy?  Did they get the grain right?  How has it lasted etc...?  Who is the 'go to' re-skinning professional and what sort of price can I expect?

Thanks for any advice

What's the grain like?  Close to original?

Not right John.

I have another car with a redone dashpad, I'll pull the file and find out who did that.

Went through the thick file of paperwork that came with the car and contacted previous owner, no luck on who refurbished it.

I'll shoot you a pic over the week of it, Clyde saw it when he was over and thought it looked very good.
