Prodigy Posted 23September, 2020 Report Share Posted 23September, 2020 I'm looking to install a Blackvue Dr750s with a Power Magic Pro for parked recording in my 996.2. I'll plug into the fuse box using the 'add a circuit' fuse taps. Those that have done similar what fuse locations have you successfully used for the constant power and Ignition switched power please? Thanks.

firstone Posted 29September, 2020 Report Share Posted 29September, 2020 I have no idea on the 996 sorry. I had one in another car and ran the constant through the firewall to the battery. Inline fuse iirc. Great product btw.
WB997.2GTS Posted 29September, 2020 Report Share Posted 29September, 2020 Easy, Using a multimeter or lamp tester (faster) check for any fuse that has power both sides with the ignition off, key removed and use that for the constant power supply, While testing note any fuses that do not have power, with the ignition on recheck the fuses that were off and use any of the fuses that are now alive as your switched supply. jordan Posted 29November, 2020 Report Share Posted 29November, 2020 How much power do you need to run when car is off? If so, might be easier to run it up from cigarette lighter?

I ended up using fuses D5 & D10 for the install. firstone and jordan 1
