however the anointed know the purity and pleasures of a sub 760 kg rear drive 700cc triple turbo mid engine layout  

a recent drive with a bunch of hirsute p-car men, had them agog laughing and wanting a drive

ive found the drive experiences a little intoxicating and don’t believe the pub blather and old Media releases. Sure the 3-Spd , 2-diff Comp controlled sequential shift is a little curious, just not as shitty as most want to believe. 

as for a 996 comparison 🙄 the tub is remarkably torsional in stiffness (Seriously tough in an impact), as is the 996 with been on 3 wheels an easy enough occurrence .. the outward vista is also somewhat canny, as is the plasticky early mid -noughties interiors

Loving the stock roadster and Knowing a certain crazed roadster nerd,  AKA DKUBUS in S.A,  whose being hard at work destruction testing various fast n furious mods, I put my hand up for his mighty mods programme including:

a roof that don’t leak and some aero 

 

Dyno pull  other week - exhaust fitted to std roadster . Recorded 11kw gain over baseline run

Hahaha There’s truth in your words ... however 2 up , over Macquarie Pass ,(Usual delivery drive home, with a new purchase )  acquitted itself well enough ...despite an overwhelming deficit of torque , but good control of testicle retraction.. Even managed to get around a cpl of slug boat SUV’s ... second best run on this road . First being in a just  bought Wimbledon green 964, 14 year old tyres , chasing down a latter day Monaro

End game ? Chasing just north of 200nm Plausible and not too finicky and some better aero and a non leaking roof  🙏🙏🙏🙏

Stage 2 might incur more cost with diminishing gain . But a header set up using a larger turbo and compressed air to spool it up earlier sounds trick a treat
