My unit is the blue TX8000 and is complete with charger and mounting box. Has not been used for some time, but it does light up when placed on the charger. It therefore may need a service, so happy to sell it to you for say $150.00 plus postage to Melbourne. EDIT: On charger overnight, all seems ok.
