GUT Posted 9September, 2018 Report Share Posted 9September, 2018 I think I must be the only person who didn't head out somewhere this morning. PFA, Facebook, Instagram are all conspiring to rub it in! Great pics guys. Philbee, ANF and poli84 1 1

Grimmy Posted 10September, 2018 Report Share Posted 10September, 2018 Thanks for the friendly Wave gents. I was out with some friends with mixed marque's Porsche & AMG Nice to see some familiar PFA faces and cars going in the opposite direction and also staying on the correct side of the road. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for some other Porsche Drivers yesterday. Come across some drivers on the wrong side of the road on Nayook-Powelltown road. You would think after coming across one car that they would pull their head in however nope, everyone that was following me had to deal with them. Note these were not part of the PFA run however their cars appear on photo's on a Facebook page for another event yesterday. Maybe it needs to explained that these are not closed road events! Airhead Posted 10September, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 10September, 2018 Went for a bit of a drive on Friday in the 996. Drove along this bit at one stage on Saturday. Saw lots of porkers going the other way. Had a drink with a few people on Sat night. SWLTDF trying out a GT3RS for size. Then went to a bit of a show on Sunday. Some really nice cars there. Loved this '74 2.7 MFI Targa. Couple of black beauties. A nice original 914 The odd cow there though. Great show. Porsche really know how to celebrate the 70th. Did over 1600ks and well worth it. After getting bored of the 80kmh conga line I detoured along this road on Sunday. But, I was running solo so I plead not guilty, your Honour. I can’t vouch for the behavior of others in the group as we were split up a bit. poli84 and hugh
Rick V Posted 13September, 2018 Report Share Posted 13September, 2018 Finally got my new registration plates on (thanks to Stewart Kay of Historic Plates). Then it was time for a run through the Adelaide hills down to see Ben Finnis @ Collectible Classics, Strathalbyn (good excuse to get the GT3 out on a typical Adelaide spring day). Week 2 of ownership & can't stop smiling...... Troubleshooter, GTP911, hugh and 2 others

Airhead Posted 16September, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 16September, 2018 Joined a dozen 356s today for the 356 Register Drive your Porsche Day in Melbourne. Ended up at the Beechworth Bakery in Healsville for a coffee. We were joined for the first time by Mark and Helen in their recently completed '58 A Coupe. A lovely car.
