Howe Posted 10November, 2020 Report Share Posted 10November, 2020 Anyone had these replaced lately and an idea on price. Assume a wheel alignment is required. Thanks
CapnHyaku Posted 10November, 2020 Report Share Posted 10November, 2020 Bump stops replacement should not alter a wheel alignment per se. However, because you need to remove the shock and then put it back after you replace the bump stops, it will be a good idea to redo the alignment in my opinion. If you're going to the effort of replacement of the bump stops and doing a wheel alignment again, it might be more worthwhile to look at replacing other stuff while the shocks out. Anything else looking tired? Bushes all OK?
Howe Posted 10November, 2020 Author Report Share Posted 10November, 2020 Well it was a bit under utilized, done 27k, so not a lot of k's for its age. Can't believe that eurathane can deteriorate so badly when it has basically no exposure to UV. Other bushes all seem ok. Will go with a alignment though. Gnrnr Posted 11November, 2020 Report Share Posted 11November, 2020 I had mine done about 3 weeks ago. The bumps stops themselves came with the car from the previous owner. He had bought them, but not had them fitted. I had them fitted and 4 wheel alignment done for about $480. Howe
