I am about to replace all the arms and parts due to worn bushes.

The old ones... are they re-usable by someone who wants to put track bushes in them?  Do people pay for them?

Hope you don't find one like this - found on a Boxster we're parting out.......20200808_150222_resized.thumb.jpg.27678ea3fbd3799414453a5b7575934a.jpg

not even a second backing plate

That's a paddling!

They've done that just to get it drivable to the auction house and make it someone else's nightmare.

They have had to mount a median or something to land on and crack it like that.  Can you see other evidence underneath the chassis where the gutters hit?

I want to think this was only done so as to be able to push the wreck about the place?

Not convinced, it looked like an old repair rather than recent......

There was nothing obvious, car has now been parted out, never to hit the road again...
