I’m here to help.  A basement is a huge undertaking.  $90k cash today.

In 5s and 10s or coins? My other low ballers have been in the 6 figures. This is a future classic, not as common as all of these bloody GT3s.

Thanks for the reply Wilbur

im still deciding what year to go for

Most of the ones on the market seem to be missing service history or lack of servicing.

one will turn up one day no stress

Negotiate accordingly. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not a decent car.

My 997.1 S had a few years gap in service, only 2000ks over that time though.

Because of this and a few other minor issues (new tyres, bonnet struts, fuel door hinge) a lower price was paid.

A PPI by Dave Brennan in Melbourne, including bore scoping told me all i needed to know. The car performs great, no oil consumption after 2 years and 20000ks

I try to buy a car not worrying what the next person is going to think and with due diligence make an informed decision.

Thanks for the reply good to know. That’s a good point I do plan to hold the car for a long time. Although on paper it dose look better to see the fluids have been flushed out and changed.

will definitely get a ppi.

bores will be scoped.

I have been sitting back researching for most of the year. Trying to learn as much as I can enjoying it so far.
