The Datsun 240Z is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, and I loved looking at mine. It is a pity it was really not great to drive, which is ultimately why I sold it. Although I haven't had the chance to drive a 944 as yet, by all accounts they drive as good or better than they look. Interesting - what’s not great about driving them? Performance? Handling? agree id have a 944 over a 240 any day

It just felt like a very primitive old car. Compared to my 74 911, they are night and day. The 911 is so much more refined and civilised. The Z just felt rickety. Carrot01 Posted 3March, 2022 Report Share Posted 3March, 2022 Wow interesting that the Garnet Red turbo the OP linked to carsales in the first post only finally sold 2 weeks ago!
slamdanke Posted 3March, 2022 Author Report Share Posted 3March, 2022 Aaah, I saw a garnet red 952 had sold in the 944 Turbo Australia group on Facebook but I didn't realise it was the same one. Wow, that's quite a long sale time! Mind you... I looked on Carsales not long ago and I don't remember seeing that one listed... hmm! I ended up buying one in Brisbane. This is mine here:
