911virgin Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 The garage i have is relatively well ventilated but does get a bit dusty, should i be getting a car cover for a car which only sees weekend use? or is it better to let the car "breathe"? edgy Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 Definitely cover, I just use the indoor type... I like the OEM Porsche ones, easy to handle, soft on the the car and stores well in its bag when not in use! Niko
MARTY Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 Definitely cover it I say it can’t do it any harm
marc and cars Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 Just remember to wash them regularly!
OZ930 Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 And don’t drag the cover off when uncovering. Fold it as you go, so as not to scratch the paint if dust gets through the cover.
Philbee Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 I find the dust builds just up if theres a leak in the garage and then theres a layer of grit if left long enough... You end up either living with the grit & thats no good or washing it all the time depending on your level of car care., thats a pain over time. I went to clark rubber and bought stripes of rubber and filled the gap under the door, really helped alot but the cover is the go. A good indoor one should allow it to breath ok and yeah as mentioned above, dont drag it off, fold it on & off. 😉
Coastr Posted 1June, 2021 Report Share Posted 1June, 2021 My cover always makes the windscreen grotty. I suppose washing the cover is the go but it’s a bit big ?
