vivid911 Posted 22June, 2021 Report Share Posted 22June, 2021 It’s been a few years and I’m thinking about getting back into a Porsche. The idea is a track car/club license as the way to go, the track is where I had the most fun last time around without the worry of losing your license! Anyone with a thought/details on the car in the link below? https://my105.com/mobi/ListingDetails/title/porsche-1974-rsr/p/4/k/Porsche/id/22150 https://youtu.be/805OMDAfM5w Cheers, Scott T

Wayne Park drove it, and I think his race prep business might have also built it and supported it. Wayne Park and his business have supported and maintained 956 and 962's out of Brisbane over the years.... so there again is another significant thing going for it. The car had a refresh in Sydney in last 2-3 years again by well regarded and experienced Porsche people. It is currently owned by an experienced and highly regarded historic racer with significant Porsche experience. In short - nothing ventured nothing gained? 2 hours ago, vivid911 said: The idea is a track car/club license as the way to go, the track is where I had the most fun last time around without the worry of losing your license! OBRUT Posted 23June, 2021 Report Share Posted 23June, 2021 Have you thought about considering something with a historic logbook? 911’s can run in group’s S and N. Opens up a few more options as to where you can use the car.
