TE911 Posted 30July, 2021 Report Share Posted 30July, 2021 So ive got a classic P car on its way. Im planning on going on historic rego but being a import i wasnt sure if it would be the same process as a local car. After calling Service NSW and talking with PCNSW ive been told all i will need to get historic rego is a pink slip...? i thought i would need a blue slip.. but was told that is only for full rego... Can anyone confirm if this is true? i find it too hard to believe Cheers, T

Fishcop Posted 30July, 2021 Report Share Posted 30July, 2021 FWIW I was asked to do a Blue Slip by my local historic club for it's first rego and year on NSW historic plates (in from Qld)...

Best to check with the club you will be a part of. In my experience, if a car has been registered in NSW before on full rego, most clubs will be fine with a pinky .. if it come from interstate (or O/S in your case) they might ask for a bluey just to have the car officially identified in NSW. Officially, a pink is all you need .. some people just like to complicate an already complicated system .. Fishcop
