OK, I will be doing an SMT on Sunday 15-8-2021, starts Goulburn, route will be revealed at Goulburn on the morning, meet at Park Cafe Goulburn 9am. Regardless of interest I am going with a mate. Will take most of the day. ACT crew, Michel??…Turra???

Hi Greg,

Excellent initiative, I think I'm a starter presuming we are still allowed by then.  Could even be convinced to make it an even quieter weekday if that works for others.  Commiserations to those not able to go far from home, it's a necessary evil at present.  We will get through it and have good times again.

Drive it to work Kurt.  The security cameras showed some unexpected activity so you needed to drive safely but quickly in the upper RPM.....

I honestly have been tempted.. but our business/factory is in a hotspot LGA, so just not a good look... I dont want to be that guy!

Canberra's locked down and declared a hotspot.  Given I have been there on weekdays for work I gather I'm under a stay at home order regarding NSW travel.  Time for some quality shed time.  Next time eh?

Fortunately haven't been at any contact locations and was home before the 5pm yesterday deadline so my reading of the rules is all I need to do is follow normal lockdown rules.  This is where it's good being a hermit and having a couple of acres. 
Just back from a milk run in the 996!    Might be the only exercise it gets for a few weeks/months.

Given the imprisonment of most of the population I’ve decided it could be construed as “bad form” to go blasting across NSW in a Porsche for a few hundred kilometers even though where I live & the route are not in Covid Country. Therefore my mate & I will be doing a much shorter & less conspicuous run in our backyard.

Well thats torn it, all NSW in lockdown, just because those in the forbidden zone couldn’t behave themselves, got 1hr & 59 minutes left for a drive!!!

So I decided not to be intimidated by lockdown & go on an SMT anyway! 
Home to the letterbox, letterbox back to front gate, quick stop at the barn (toilet break, you know how it is on long drives), check the dam, chase some roos, check the hives then back home, what a great drive. Total distance traveled 2.1ks, max speed 57kph in the driveway. Might try a different route tomorrow 😂😂😂😂

Zero miles on mine (not even letterbox) in the last few months, putting all the miles on my sneakers lately… which isn’t bad, although one of these images cost me an iPhone 🤣

😂😂 It’s as smooth as a highway, hardly off road, didn’t even cross the creek cause I’m not sure what Porsche’s max wading depth is, suppose I could always drag it out with the excavator 😳😳

I think it would be interesting to know how peoples interactions with cars has changed over the pandemic, and what else we're spending our spare time on! Other than eating and drinking

Funny, those would make me more inclined to buy, not less.

Greg lovely looking place there, nice elevation changes.  All it really needs is a couple of km of bitumen.
