Its a pity that it requires an external box, it is a pity they didn't just incorporate the electronics onto one board that all fits within the PCM. Maybe it's a one size fits all solution they make a simple adapter board for various head units and get economies of scale on the main unit by being able to adapt to various head units. barrym Posted 1December, 2021 Report Share Posted 1December, 2021 just done this as well ... but in a 957 with pcm 3.0 carplay works really well, but ... not documented in that dipswitch #3 needs to be 'on' to work with pcm3, or off for pcm3.1. my pcm3, while having the aux port in the centre control, does not appear to be enabled in the pcm - i cant select aux input ... anyone know an indie in Brisbane that can code / enable it ?
