Karlito JH Posted 19November, 2021 Report Share Posted 19November, 2021 Hi Guys this is my first time posting I've owned my 1997 986 boxster for about 2 months now and I've noticed it has a leak coming from the air oil separator boot under the car. I was wondering if I would just need to replace the boot or replace the whole aos. Any help would be greatly appreciated 😁
tomo Posted 19November, 2021 Report Share Posted 19November, 2021 I think it's one of those situations of" while your in there" fix the lot. . Karlito JH and Troubleshooter 1
sjm Posted 20November, 2021 Report Share Posted 20November, 2021 I would change the AOS and be done with it. Did it on a 996 cab auto and it was a pain. Heard Boxsters are much more straightforward to do with access to the rear of the motor. It’s a consumable item.
