I’ll be driving it that’s for sure, the small changes I’m making won’t keep it off the road ☺️

I have purchased the Recaro Pole Position (Classic Pepita) for my 964 build (see elsewhere in PFA) + a set of genuine RUF 18" wheels (8.5" & 10.0").

Quality doesnt come cheap, someone famous once said.

I am aiming for something like the attached photo with my build.

I don’t think the car had seen a vacuum for a while so I took the multicolored tombstones out, gave the interior a good clean and fitted the Cobra’s. It was great to work on a car again and I loved that my 15 year old son was giving me a hand. We went for a drive afterwards and the seats feel great but the seatbelts don’t so harnesses are next on the list.

I’ve fitted one of the sets of harnesses that came with the car and I’ll run these until I decide between having the original seats trimmed or buying either Cobra classic RS seats or Recaro pole positions.

An update on the interior changes I’ve been making to my Yellow Bird inspired coupe. 

Tombstone seats trimmed with yellow pepita, steering wheel, gear knob and fire extinguisher changed, shift boot fitted and the crappy drink bottle holder removed. 

The Interior is mostly done, I’ve just got to fix a couple of issues with the door strikers and locks now.

I’d be surprised if they would, I’ve got 17” cup wheels in 7.5” & 9” and they fill the guards nicely

I had the whale tail grille painted black (as per the RUF CTR look of the car) and the deck lid repainted after I removed the Carrera RS badges (because it’s not a Carrera RS), unfortunately they had been superglued on 🤦‍♂️

 Ah yes, super glued lettering is easy to get off without leaving a ghost or half your paint 🙄 Been there

One of the mechanics at work is helping me to adjust the suspension and dial out the hot rod stance. It’s a work in process but we should have it finished on Monday night, unfortunately it means I’m missing Luftwasser 😞

It’s been a bit of trail & error and a few late nights but the ride height adjustment and wheel alignment is done ☺️

Adding some adjustability to the rear suspension to get the ride height and alignment spot on and this should be the last time we have to index the torsion bars🤞
