@sjm should be a fun day, kudos for doing the GT track if you haven't been there before, there are a lot of corners, best  to start watching a few videos.

I won't be attending on the 20th but am keen in March for the GT track on the bike.

just double checked the track layout, the international track is being used. 4.95ks.

Should be slightly easier to get acquainted.

I'm sure @spiller has some footage on the forum somewhere to study the International Circuit.

Found this in Motor from a few issues back. Track tips by Warren Luff. Had a look for Spillers write up but I have no success when searching forums for previous comments.

dragging this back to the original theme of this thread, there's this review

The fire sticks look like a good invention, giving more extinguishing time.

However the motor sport shop{Auto sport}, were hesitant to recommend them.

Something about not being approved by the powers that be.

Carrying a couple wouldn't be a bad idea in the long run though.

@sjm here’s some footage of the international from last year. Have fun on the 20th!

Great vid Spiller, gives me good reference of the flow needed.

That and what happens when the tyres are seem to give up towards the end ( heat / over pressured?)
