1974 911 Dash and fascia restore

Hi,

Looking to restore the dash and fascia panels (glove box, radio/heater surround, ignition switch surround).

I understand the dash goes for recovering at a place like the dash doctor - however I am yet to find a solution to the fascia panel restoration. Do I remove the foam material and have the metal covered with vinyl or is there another solution?

Thanks.

I back/forward dated my dash so it is no longer anything like the original 74 anymore ;)

Hey Jeff, for others looking to backdate their G series dash, do you have any links or recommendations S for where to buy parts?

Anythi g particularly difficult about it?

pretty straight forward process?

Cheers.

I made it all myself so I don't have any parts to recommend although I do remember some guys in the UK did make some stuff, but it wasn't cheap. It was a fair bit of work as the G series dash has a thick vinyl covered pad along the lower face. I removed that and made the whole lot. It is all covered in videos in my back catalog somewhere.
