Nick JH Posted 9April, 2022 Report Share Posted 9April, 2022 Good evening all just looking for some advice I want to keep my original door cards which are cream in colour not sure what the exact colour is but they are original. I’d like to put rs style door pulls on them. Has anyone done this on the forum. And where would I be able to buy a kit from? So far I’ve only looked on pelican parts and eBay. thanks in advance. Any help would be appreciated also photos for ideas. Also it’s a 84 Carrera 3.

mbj Posted 10April, 2022 Report Share Posted 10April, 2022 Gday. I have just done this on my 75. I used Appbiz and made new door cards. you need to drill and install nut inserts into your door. You will also need to cut new holes into your old door card if you use that. Plus I’m not sure how the 84 original door works, but in mine I had to remove the original handle and door pull. This in essence makes the original door card not suitable. It’s all reversible but I’d bank on making new door cards. A template comes with the Appbiz kit, and materials to make new cards are pretty cheap. Easy project and very satisfying when it’s done. Cheshire Cat Posted 25June, 2022 Report Share Posted 25June, 2022 Done my door cards with rs style pull myself from scratch. Easy as tbh. https://www.instagram.com/p/CVpj3Xcp-Kw/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
