Planning a Sunday morning run 1/5/22 .

The weather is not getting warmer or dryer from her , we might as well go asap. The weather forecast is not to bad.  We had this run on the cards a couple of times , but Covid , storms , road closures ,etc, stopped it every time from happening.

The theme is alpine with morning take away coffee or full breakfast ( everybody do as they wish), 360 degree of fantastic views included. The roads in question have been repaired and cleaned up . More good news: the drive to is just as exciting as the drive from the venue.

Meet at Maccas Tecoma 6:30 am, drive at 7 am. Please bring a radio and a full tank of petrol. We want to keep numbers at 10 cars or less to ensure good flow. If you are interested , please reconfirm asap.

Hope to see exciting cars and awesome drivers. :Passusabeer:

As always Arne thank you for making the call, planning the route and thinking about food !!!

This is one I cannot make as my significantly better half is competing in a marathon that morning and I will be supporting her.

Have a great morning out.

In pending repairs - put me as tentative at this stage (small coolant leak).

I know all about coolant leaks, tow trucks , etc. Better fixed at home than on the side of the road. Hope you get it done.

Hi Arne, I am interested but would like to first ask how long/far would the run go for, about what time would we make it back?

I reckon you'll be home by 11 am or thereabouts . About 90 minute drive each way , and brekkie break .

Hi All,

we are all good or this Sunday , looks like the weather is clearing for Sunday. Fingers crossed .

Lets spare a thought and pay our respect to the driver and his family , who got killed in the Targa.

A timely reminder that safety has to be priority , but there are always risks. See you there. 👍

An another amazing drive on an another amazing piece of road. The track was like the old Mad Mouse ride from the Melbourne Show.

Then finally a coffee and Brekky  break at Mt Baw Baw where the air was certainly crisp.

A quick rest and we were off towards home.  I chose a much more relaxed pace going back down the mountain.
