Eden Posted 13April, 2022 Report Share Posted 13April, 2022 Hey everyone, I have noticed a small coolant leak coming from the rear of the engine on the water pump > hose joint. Will need to get under there on the weekend to check it out fully. Hopefully, it is just the hose/fitting. While I'm in there what else should I be doing ? Seems like water pump and thermostat is what other people are doing preventatively, any other recommendations? Thanks, Eden.
P-Kay Posted 13April, 2022 Report Share Posted 13April, 2022 The water pump is the only area for concern and you are doing the 'other common' item, so really, the only other area to determine if worthy, is the coolant plastic tank tomo
Fishcop Posted 14April, 2022 Report Share Posted 14April, 2022 Change the pump and thermostat if you're going to trouble shoot. Pumps in particular have a finite life.
