Niko Posted 17April, 2022 Report Share Posted 17April, 2022 Perfect day if not a little bit windy in Melbourne today. Decided to blow the cobwebs out of the BBC and check out the Flinders Car show. A few of our members having their porkers on display. I arrived about ten which is when it kicked off. Heaps of people and a great variety of cars in about 4 different locations. $5 in for adults with Kids free. Compared to last weekend at the Point Leo Winery where it was $250.00 to walk in. I think the Flinders show would probably have bought in just as much if not more than the Point LEO display. Plus.. the fees today are going to charity. The cars that were parked in the street and not entered were also a car show within itself. First time I have been to this show which has apparently been going for years. Have to make sure it is on the calendar for next year. Great display, very well organised. Looking forward to 2023 Rods, Water cooled, first in line with the rest being all old shitters Duggy's 901 John O's 901 Dave Ozvino's recently restored (well nearly... restored) 924 Turbo Now that is one nice butt. SKIDMARK's impressive contribution to the display day Beautiful replica Speedster Hugh's GT3 This lot should have all been put on a Consorting Report. Dave/Ozvino and Scotty Barry in the hat, third from left, John O, Scotty and DaveOzvino Barry's better half, Ursula with the schnauzer Arne Krix, luzzo, Joz and 11 others 11

Dalai Posted 17April, 2022 Report Share Posted 17April, 2022 Was indeed a great day. Took a circuitous route to Flinders via Arthur's seat and Red Hill on the motorbike arriving in Flinders around noon. Enjoyed checking out the cars displayed in the various spots around town. Saw @Skidmarks near his GT3 and went to say hi but he was mid conversation so didn't interrupt. @luzzo with family in tow spotted me sitting near the bike as I was getting ready to leave and stopped for a quick chat. Headed back through Red Hill home to get in a few more curves. So much easier to overtake Sunday drivers on the Gixxer! tomo, Rod C, Arne Krix and 5 others
