This great example of the 911 Carrera 2 has modest mileage for its age, has been serviced annually either within the Porsche dealer network or at respected Porsche independent specialists, and looks fabulous in its gleaming Seal Grey paintwork and 911 GT3-style alloy wheels. Originally delivered to Queensland in 2001, this stunning Porsche 911 Carrera 996-series has been lovingly maintained by four Porsche enthusiast owners. Following a cylinder head failure in 2011, the car’s engine was replaced (with overall mileage standing at 94,591km) with a new factory-delivered unit with an uprated IMS bearing, together with an improved gear lever mechanism from the later 997-series Porsche 911. The Porsche factory database has been updated with the new engine number, validating its status as an approved repair.

Partly as a consequence of the Covid 19 pandemic, between 2018 and 2022 this much cherished Porsche 996 Carrera 2 has travelled only 1,000km. It’s in excellent condition inside and out considering its age, and its specification includes the following niceties:
