Fresh 3.5 Litre Build - Complete Plug & Play

Recommended Posts

Thought I should post correctly in the classifieds..

This is a 3.2 Carrera motor that has been 100% rebuilt and upgraded to 3.5 litres by way of pistons, cylinders and crankshaft and of course had a full rebuild. I've been planning this project for a year or so now and am really happy with how it has turned out. For those that don't know me, I have been assembling engines full time.

3.6 crankshaft
964 Oil pump
genuine GT3 main bearings
Custom Carrillo Pistons
Bored and Nikasil Plated Cylinders
Resized rods, new bushings and bearings
ARP rod bolts
new chains, guides, etc
new head studs
John Dougherty custom camshafts
new valve guides and heads rebuilt
Steve Wong bored throttle body
Steve Wong custom chip for the 3.5 capacity and 98 fuel
George's European Headers
Custom Merge stainless exhaust (GT3 muffler optional)
Everything powder coated, vapour blasted or cerakoted. There is literally nothing to spend.
Comes with ECU and harness. Bolt it and go!

The engine has been run and tested and pulls very strongly. The acceleration from 3k is shall we say "fun" :)
Would make an excellent powerplant for your 2.7, 3.0 or 3.2 car with 915 box. Track car, street car, whatever. Best part is, there is no tuning required, no idle or cold start problems.. Just get in, turn the key, and drive as you normally would. There are no teething issues that you may get from an aftermarket ecu with ITB or carburettor setup.

Will consider your 3.0 or 3.2 motor as part payment if you on't want to be stuck with a spare motor!

If you are looking to rebuild your motor in the future, rather than paying to have a stock engine rebuilt, you could have this upgraded unit for the close to the same changeover.

Additionally, I can offer a  915 with factory LSD. This has also been rebuilt and has new syncros, bearings, dog gears and the pinion bore has been machined and sleeved. Price for the box to be determined, but thinking around $8-9k.

Price for engine is negotiable. Don't be scared to make an offer, just dont be rude!  Reason for sale is I now want to try my hand at a turbo efi conversion.....
