Dalai Posted 8August, 2022 Report Share Posted 8August, 2022 As my progress getting the Cheetah mk6 Historic Australian Formula 2 running has been glacial plus still need organising the Certificate of Description, I thought a running and logbooked car to learn in now would be a sensible idea. As long as I don't bend it, I expect I will be able to move it on for similar to what I paid for it; which honestly wasn't much to begin with. Therefore just home from a 2400km return journey over the weekend to Forster Tuncurry to collect this 1977 Mako Mk1 Formula Vee. Been over a decade since I last drove to Sydney and must say now the Hume is duplicated the whole way and with the bypasses made it a much more pleasant trip. Plus the tolls including the NorthConnex tunnel meant a smooth non stop trip through Sydney! Quick break at the Hawkesbury River rest stop heading South yesterday.
