MY17 are PCM 4.0 so all the units all have CarPlay preparation, the factory setup was a cost option.... you can have it programmed on a unit (that didn't get it from factory) by a dude on rennlist who can activate Apple CarPlay and Android audio ... his handle escapes me, but well known in the circles if you search the Macan sub-forums.
