TwoHeadsTas Posted 16February, 2023 Report Posted 16February, 2023 Houston, we have a problem!! Wife was transporting a rug in her car which was hanging over the flap thingie that covers some of the hood mechanism and flips up and and down during the hood raising / lowering process. She forgot to take the rug out before putting the hood up, and it appears something has broken or become damaged / slipped per attached photo, as the flap is now sticking up on the spring tension. It looks as though there is a wire cable that pulls the flap down, and this is what isn't working properly. I can't track down an actual name for the flap, but has anyone else struck this problem, if so how did they fix, or is there a Youtube video of the fix? Quote
Sabotage Posted 8March, 2023 Report Posted 8March, 2023 Hey mate, I can't help unfortunately, but did you get it sorted? Quote
