Mat Posted 1June Report Share Posted 1June Hi Everyone, Just introducing my car and I before I start posting. I'm based in Sydney, purchased my first Porsche, an '89 944T Linen Metalic last year and starting to work in it at home. It's in great condition but I'm keen to get everything working correctly and clean it up a bit. First job is complete, It has a hideous fuel smell which made it impossible to drive with the windows up. I removed the fuel tank, gave it a good clean, replaced all the fuel supply lines along with the sender unit, screen a high volume pump. Back together and seemed to have fixed the issue. I'm moved onto replacing the timing belt, water pump, hoses, leaking breather and vacuum hoses under the intake manifold.
