GC9911 Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August I may have an opportunity to try something different (still Porsche) Just interested in the collectives informed opinion as to value thoughts on my current car which will have to go to make the opportunity happen. 2016 991.2 Carrera S manual, 29,000klmns, one owner, always serviced at PCW, extended P warranty to 2025 (can be extended further), spider wheels, PDLS, carbon trim, heated seats/steering wheel, PS4 tyres, new rotors & pads rear, sports exhaust, never been to the track. sjm, tomk86, Spets87 and 1 other
tomo Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August Well 2012 S went for 135 k @ auction so with fees and n things maybe 145 to 150 all up , That puts you somewhere in the paddock. GC9911

edgy Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August Hey G followed it quite closely for a bit before we bought a 991.1 S, it seemed the best of the 991.1 & 991.2 C2S overlapped a little, based on that I think realistically you’re in the $180-200k transaction range. curious what’s got your attention 😊 GC9911
JWM Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August I plugged it into Carsales and it says private sale is $184,000 - $203,300, and interestingly, trade-in is pretty similar: $180,100 - $199,600. GC9911
sleazius Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August Well overdue a Sydney run… I’m also curious as to what you’ve got your eye on. My pricing input is useless on these.
Sepand Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August It’s worth around 180-200k what were you hoping for?
sjm Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August Being a series 2 S Manual with 29km I would think it’s a rare and somewhat desirable car. Pricing is a hard thing to pin down but my guess is $200-220.. Not that I would like to pay that of course 😅 All you need is one buyer! GLWS. tomk86 Posted 23August Report Share Posted 23August Nice care! I would say 190-200 given the rarity (actual selling price). tomo

sleazius Posted 24August Report Share Posted 24August Been thinking about organising for a few weeks now. Going scouting tomorrow morning. GC9911
sleazius Posted 25August Report Share Posted 25August May have spotted @MFX coming out of east Bowral round 10:30. Was in a side street a few cars back queued to come onto old south road. Also spotted two Spyders driving in convoy at Robertson Pie shop (Crayon and White I think), and a 992 GT3 RS near hilltop on Wilson Drive. sleazius Posted 28August Report Share Posted 28August Orange is definitely under the radar .. but shark blue isn’t a whole lot better in a convertible. I’m happy to do whatever - not gonna lie that crookwell run was epic and more than happy to do that again. I was sussing out my route that we didn’t do 18months (or was it longer) back because Kangaroo Valley the roads got washed out. Edit: <link broken, will fix on pc> Berry for lunch. Bunker in Mulgoa opens 7am every day (Coffee). But like I said if you guys want to do Crookwell again I’m happy to do that too. Just realised I missed the jink through Warragamba on that route too. Only thing is I can’t do between the 8th and the 25th as I’ll be away.

Goes Directly past the NSW rail museum at Thirlmere (although it doesn't open until 10am, can still see a fair chunk of the cars in the sidings), and then down to Cambewarra Mountain Lookout. From there either lunch in Berry or Kangaroo Valley. Bunker opens in Mulgoa at 7am for those that need Coffee before setting off. If not I'm keen to do Goulburn to Bathurst via Crookwell run again (or wherever the hell it was we went ). MFX
