rangiegaz Posted 9September Report Share Posted 9September Took the '82 930 for an eighty k run today, went well but when I refuelled it wouldn't start, just spun over fast ,but no go. I waited 30secs and away he went ,no probs., stopped at shop, then same prob., waited a couple of minutes ,off I go again. When I got home and switched it off in the shed it wouldn't go again and hasn't since. Anyone had the same symptoms, or have any ideas
OBRUT Posted 9September Report Share Posted 9September Could be fuel pump relay. Try jumping the relay and see if it starts. Lots of info on pelican forums etc on how to do it.
Davis Posted 9September Report Share Posted 9September I once had an issue like you describe and it was the green wire from the Dizzy to control module. Maybe check that.
rangiegaz Posted 9September Author Report Share Posted 9September All good, it was the anti theft device locking me out. Just had to reset it and away he went, electronics do my head in, but it just takes a little patience and think things through rationally. When we stopped I set the security, but must have pressed buttons in different sequence and It didn't like it. IT SEEMS LOTS OF PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED BY NOT PANICKING AND RETRACING YOUR STEPS TO SEE WHAT YOU DID DIFFERENTLY .
