Joz Posted 15December, 2024 Report Share Posted 15December, 2024 Ok I’m interested in having the cars presentation brought back to schmick. Well as close as possible without a blank cheque. Anyhoo, I’m looking/ wondering at paint correction, particularly the bonnet, front bumper, guards and some minor stone chips scattered around the car. Once done a protective wrap probably only for the front and mirrors, or should I try for a complete wrap? Any suggestions on shops that you may have experience with and any advice or feedback on your experience would be mucho appreciated.

Joz Posted 16December, 2024 Author Report Share Posted 16December, 2024 Another question, with paint correction how much work actually goes into removing and making invisible the chips?
P-Kay Posted 16December, 2024 Report Share Posted 16December, 2024 44 minutes ago, Joz said: how much work Realistically, there are two main options. One is to respray - sand down the chips to a feathered finish - sadly, your car being silver, will then be multi tone (most likely). The alternative is to touch all the chips up, de-nib (sand flat) and polish. You would need to speak with your chosen workshop and they will guide you with effort involved.
