Know someone that works in a Porsche shop went for a ride in it. Ridiculously fast apparently. 800hp will do that I s'pose

$600k 997 turbo with full gembella kit  with 800hp   is how much better to own / drive  than a stock turbo 2008 997 turbo  with evoms 775hp kit and suspension upgrade (260k) +  997 gt3 (240k eg  decent?) + how far does the remaining  100k go to getting one of the below in the drive way to hide the gt3 from the Mrs.

Fuchin  hell, these fuchtards think they could actually fool someone with this crap??? From the original ad style, mistakes, grammatical/spelling errors,  etc etc etc through to the statement above (whish is the usual type of one they use) ... does anyone actually know anyone or have even heard of anyone falling for these pathetic car scams?

Actually this is part of the scam. It’s intentionally pretty bloody obvious to filter out anyone smart enough not to fall for it straight away...

Think of it like any business, the want to qualify their real “buyers” as fast as possible and with as little effort as needed. In this case they pass you through a set of filters to test for gullibility and/or greed that overpowers any common sense...

Carrera 3.2's?

CTS obviously don't think the market for good 3.2's has soften with $135k on my old one:

https://classicthrottleshop.com/1985-porsche-911-carrera-white-gold/

and this one listed at $145k being "under offer"

https://classicthrottleshop.com/1989-porsche-911-carrera-linen-grey/

Interesting to see how long they actually hang around for.

My old car is still for sale....

Maybe he should get CTS to sell it for him....:D :D :D

Cheers,

Geoff.

It is an absolute stunner. If I didn’t have one already I would snap it up.

What happens if they don't get what he paid for it?  How's he explain that to the missus when he probably originally told her it was an "investment"!

But you are right, why would you suffer the fools of Carsales

What do CTS usually charge?

They usually charge a Commission that is agreed between the parties....they base it off what the car is selling for.

They will try and get the Seller what he wants for the car, within reason.

Cheers,

Geoff.

Peter,

That's the pitfalls of the Car Market....you can't always get your money back. That's probably why it has been for sale for 4 months.

Although I think he would have a better chance of a sale through CTS, rather than dealing with people on Carsales.

Cheers,

Geoff.

and the linen grey CTS one that is "under offer" is my old one.

So, along with Geoff's - three PFA member's ex 3.2's resurface...
