Nikos Posted 23October, 2020 Report Share Posted 23October, 2020 I saw that 964 Targa yesturday. Pretty scarce from what I've been told. Price didn't overly surprise me, but such a quick sale did.

Suprised it hasn't sold yet to be honest. Shouldn't be too far off. I'm waiting a couple more weeks to get a PPI done on an 85' 3.2 that I'm very keen on. If that doesn't go well and this is still up, I'll go take a look. tomo

NBTBRV8 Posted 28October, 2020 Report Share Posted 28October, 2020 I was talking to a Victorian based OPC salesman today and he told me that whilst he was stood down and the dealership closed, he sold 25 vehicles from home and all pretty much at full retail. He went on to say that he's been re-valuing trade ins that are $2-$5k stronger than before lock down, even with more mileage. So it can't all be doom and gloom in the new Porsche car market during the Pandemic.
DJM Posted 28October, 2020 Report Share Posted 28October, 2020 Wowsers. Who needs a mega million dealership if you can sell from home......? I heard today we’re likely out of recession already despite Vic chaos. Wow, didn’t expect that. I went to the shops today, first time for months and it was bedlam midday Weds......... If that’s a sign of consumer sentiment there might be a significant spike as Vic comes back on line. Chances of a fire sale.......zilch. Just sold a property $25k over ask and only took 2 days. Trying to buy something else and inspection companies x 4 are booked out 1.5 weeks in advance ... Cars, both new and old are selling ridiculously fast ... what recession?? DJM
