39k 993 ? Rust 😟🤔🤔😉 Seller is assuring. all the rust issues resolved. As has had 4K spent to rectify the rust Around windows etc

Only allows a driveway inspections ,  and no ppi  at a specialist

he does though too credit mention WOVR status

did anyone see this car when for sale in WA, @reggiegums

I tried to snag it at $39k. but apparently current seller was so pushy that the nice nurse caved and sold to him after telling me she would talk to me first after her shift.

At $39k it was a no brainer to take the risk. At $65k.....maybe.

Why no ppi?

Someone i know went to have a look at the car and from memory said that it wasn't worth the money. So maybe......... engine............

OK. just got a message from the guy who viewed the car back then.

Rust- seemingly taken care of.

Interior trim needed replacing- seemingly taken care of.

Oil leaks- In my opinion, normal. Don't know what current seller has done.

Perhaps you could be so courteous as to respond to my interest (emails & phone calls) in the imported 964 cars you say you can supply when you posted on this forum recently As well as the PM you sent me regarding these cars.

You could have just sent me a private reminder rather than posting here. PS. I never PM'ed you.

I stand corrected you did not PM me on the 964 cars, you emailed me regarding these after I contacted you regarding the repairable write off 993. I followed up with 2 emails to you about these cars & one phone call where I left you a message non of which you replied to, hence the post here which you have replied to but still no further info from you on these cars either here  PM, email or phone.

Disappointing.

Turntables are really prevalent in some suburbs. For new builds in Brighton you have to be able to drive your car in and out of your driveway forward, so turntables are a must have.

last service was 2017 on that car! $85k is very ambitious...

He doesn't have to sell.... maybe he's going through some personal issues, or has had the week from hell, or just has other more important things to worry about.

Thanks for stating the obvious. Your other assumptions are based on sweet FA.

Definitely pricey, but the seller is not wrong about numbers... super rare in any market, especially in manual (I'd guess only around 5 would have been ordered with a stick).  That may not mean too much right now, but think about how other Porsche models have fared with low numbers.  The 968 Club Sport is indicative of how this market matures.  Another example is the 68S cars (never made it to the US market), and the <8 Australian 68L models that are priced higher than most early 911 when they very rarely change hands.  I personally love the 944 and 968 series, though even for me the cabriolet versions are a bit of a clunky afterthought to my eye - but you're almost guaranteed to be the only 968 cab at Cars & Coffee :D

This is almost identical to the one recently advertised on Facebook.  Same year, price and would swear the same car. But the one on Facebook has 113K km's vs carsales 148K km's and different number plates.  Oh, and one navy interior vs black.
