Very nicely done! I owned a 78 Sunliner Campervan for a number of years that was powered by a 914 2 litre. Always wanted to transplant a 6 cylinder into it but sold before I went down that rabbithole.

Just scrolled down to the price on the above van - pretty pricy for a delivery van regardless how nicely restored. Hate to think what they would sell a 23 Window Samba for?

Samba specialist Andy Roberts sold his collection to Dutton’s a couplE of years ago and they were selling circa $300k at CTS and Duttons. Go figure. This looks like a cleaned up old clapper that used to run around our neighbourhood- can’t help people’s taste in cars

And forgive me for posting on this crappy old non Porsche rubbish. The end

$200k and its not a Samba? Jeebus!!  😲 Man the Kombi value game has changed since I owned one

A local friend restored a '58 rat look bus, and it drives like a new car and goes like the clappers with a 2.3 engine

A $200k panel?! I’m sure it’s a good resto but no panel van will ever be worth 200k. That’s just insane.

Well that was my thought too, yet I'm sure someone will pony up the dosh for regular cars n posers meets
