Folks,

By way of information this event supports the Cora Lynn Community, and sporting clubs. It started on the Cora Lynn football ground av they used to put a car in the middle of the ground and run circles of cars around it till they found the boundary line. It then filled the car park around the ground, and the last time it was there they had a 20 acre paddock next door that was full.

It has since moved to Lardner Park at Warragul, and apparently last year they more than 5000 people through the gates..there are literally hundreds of cars, of every conceivable type. It is listed as pre '79 show and has hot rods, chrome bumpers etc etc.

If it's a good day for a cruise, it's a great event to see.......

Cheers

Its a great event. I put my 66 convertible mustang in the show many years ago in the early days.

Probably not going to make it this year but would love to see some of those Hot rods. Still have an inch for a 32 ford coupe....

That really surprises me Chris, next you will be telling us that you like DEATH METAL music  (not that there is anything wrong with that)

Ha you guys know me too well. Once I did the big resto on the stang I didn't even want to drive it on a sunny day in case it got dirty :)

I remember telling Ann when I bought the 993 that this one was going to be different and I would drive it regardless of weather.... :) :)

Chris, maybe you need to hang with the VW crowd for a bit of therapy. Well loved cars with lots of "character" are the go. Any shiny paint is quickly dispatched with a scotch brite pad.
