Tit Posted 23November, 2013 Report Share Posted 23November, 2013 That car didn't even make it to the market. RSR knew the two parties and brought them together.
DJM Posted 23November, 2013 Report Share Posted 23November, 2013 Almost identical to mine, wonder what he paid off market......? Given he looked for 2 years, presumably he looked at mine and discounted it before buying that car. Looks very shiny.....!

AL911 Posted 30November, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 30November, 2013 unfortunately this just doesn't fit the bill - too modified http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1990/SSE-AD-159752/?Cr=48&sdmvc=
f3nr15 Posted 30November, 2013 Report Share Posted 30November, 2013 That car was for sale 18 or 24 months ago. When I read that ad, it conjures up a picture of a car that was bought as a plaything and driven hard, every time. Of course, that may not actually be the case, but there's no passion in that ad, so it's hard to imagine otherwise
KGB Posted 2December, 2013 Report Share Posted 2December, 2013 Looks like another local C2 just sold off the radar -http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/964-forum/787471-gday-from-oz.html I've known Rob @ RSR for some years, so mid year I asked Rob what he knew of that was deeply buried in garages around the traps. He mentioned a signal green high km dog eared car, that needed big $'s and the red one I ended up purchasing. That being said one needs to be patient for the planets to align, a transaction can only occur at the right time for the seller to want to sell. A specialist such as Rob who has a filing cabinet full of past deals where he has sometimes sold the same car multiple times is worth his weight in gold. DJM I'd discounted your car when it was first listed on the color and it being a little difficult for me to get to Perth to see it. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh. Call_911 Posted 28January, 2016 Report Share Posted 28January, 2016 911 - 964 Carrera 4 widebody Australian deliveredI was having trouble assessing a value for my 911. It's silver, black interior 3.6L w. genuine BBS LM1 19" wheels, coupe manual 5 speed G50 gearbox 4WD. It's done 80,000 kms and has had a recent full engine rebuild, heads ported & polished, new clutch, lightened flywheel and has fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror
