3legs Posted 17August, 2020 Report Share Posted 17August, 2020 Hey Raven you may identify with this but that girl who had the axe bounce back into her head reminds me of something similar that happened to me. Back when I was doing basic training at Kapooka in 1977 I did my first live pistol firing at the 25 metre range. We were using 9mm Browning pistols and I thought I would do my best Dirty Harry stance/grip. Big mistake. I was a bit too loose. Squeezed the trigger and bang, the recoil had the butt of the pistol go straight into my forehead. Didn't hit the target either 🤣 Never made that mistake again and made sure that I listened to my instructor from that day on.
