SlideWize runs skidpan sessions at the RoadCraft Driver Training Facility in Monkland (near Gympie) in Qld (see webpage below).

Their scheduled events for 2014 are listed below.

Anyone that wants to attend one of their regular events can book directly.

There is also a spare skid pan day Sept 06 for private or club hire.  Might be worth considering.

It takes about 1.30 hours to get there from the north side of Brisbane.  So there is a fair commute.  But it is a full day session, lunch included (you need to get CTP coverage for the day).

I booked a session there a year or two ago with some friends.  It was a good day.  I know there is an upcoming skidpan session at MtCotton in the near future.  But if forum members were interested in booking the facility in September, it is probably worth discussing the feasibility sooner rather than later.

Gympie Driver Training Facility

I organised on for the Porsche Club Qld for around 20 club members a couple of years ago. It was through RaceCraft.

We had a terrific day-it was at that time cheaper for a full day then Mt Cotton half day and it did not just include the skid pan but we did some motorkana. braking control etc

Lots less control, more variety and no problems with noise then at Mt Cotton but it is a fairly long drive.

I can highly recommend the facility-I could be tempted if other were to attend
