Brisbane - Mid Week Street Meet (aka Stand around and talk about cars) Wed 5th March

Recommended Posts

so, I didn't want to hide the details in the other thread and it seemed to get some interest so lets give it a go

Where: Cannon Hill Shopping Centre Car Park (the Wynnum Road side)

When: Wednesday 5th March from 7:30pm

What: stand around and talk about cars and look at each others and generally catch up

Not sure what the facilities around there are like, but there should be a few different shops open (Hungry Jacks for one and there's a Coffee Club there too)

Everyone should know what my car looks like by now, I'll see you all there

I was thinking about here (orange cross) - northside of the carpark (and there is a bit undercover if it's raining)

but based on the past few days it'll hopefully clear by the time we get there

see you all there!

Thanks for putting this together Russ,

Was good to catch up with everyone and put names and faces to usernames.

Definitely have to make this a regular thing.

Cheers Al

no worries, thanks everyone for coming - it was good to see everyone and meet some new people.

I think next time somewhere to sit down would be great, and definitely somewhere to get coffee (although the car park was well lit and easy to get to)

First Wednesday of the month sounds like the best night for it too

buy a CTEK charger and see if you can recondition it - worked for me

I think the 5.0 is the go and about $125 + $15 for 'comfort connect' so you can leave it plugged in

restored my 670CCA battery to 830CCA and has been perfect ever since

and if it doesn't work, worst case you get something to maintain your new battery
