Orion03 Posted 10April, 2014 Report Share Posted 10April, 2014 It's WET in Melbourne at the moment. So it's slippery out there. What I have noticed is. Start from stand still, turn into first gear corner, more power.... expect smooth slide.. but get bang hop bang hop bang hop. Hmmm. Axle tramp? common in the 997C2 ? PCM antics? Lack of LSD? Russ Posted 10April, 2014 Report Share Posted 10April, 2014 I thought it was common in 996's onwards (at least a mate of mine that had a 996 turbo always used to talk about it even in the dry) and I remember a bunch of guys talking about it when the 997 first came out too at a Porsche club meeting there's a thread on 6speed about it here: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/997/157890-how-get-rid-wheel-hop.html

Bushes worn out maybe? what do you guys think? http://www.mc2racing.com/tech/20061012a/index.html replacements: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/997M/POR_997M_SUSshk_pg6.htm Or it's just normal, fix by applying more right foot control? Orion03 Posted 1May, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 1May, 2014 are you sure you are not just feeling the traction control kicking in ? The PSM light on the dash didn't light up? But really I'm new to this car so I am trying to learn if this is normal 911 behaviour.
