Hey Oz are you home for this?

I didn't think of this earlier but if anyone is interested there are three pubs and a bowling club all very close if anyone wants to have lunch.

Does anyone want to display, it would be nice if anyone did to get there together and park together, last year there was only one other Porsche besides Ben and I but there was a good variety of cars to look at.

Yep, I'm home.  Lunch sounds good.

If you count the 550 replica plus the 911 parked on the street there was 4. Mine was out having the gearbox rebuilt and I think Uncle was in the middle of his monster build.

Do we want to arrive in PFA convoy and park together ?

Hope the weather holds out.

I stand corrected, do you want to meet up somewhere?

When we get an idea of who is coming we can organise a meeting point or just meet at the swimming pool at the opposite end of the park then drive in convoy to the venue.

Dont stand corrected, I had more chance to wander around

There are two coffee shops nearby at Elder Street "shopping village" about 150m away from the display area - that open at 8.00am on Sunday morning.  One place, called "2 Blend" has plenty of room for a sit-down breakfast but both sell very good coffee nevertheless.

One suggestion would be to meet at the Lambton Pool car park which is about 200m from the display area at about 8am and travel up together, park our cars in Lambton Park and then wander up the street for coffee/breakfast.

Alternatively we could meet at the coffee shop at 8am and drive up to the park after we've had our fill.  Now Elder Street is pretty quiet on a Sunday morning so I am very confident we would be all able to park in eyesight easily.  I'm also confident if we are there at opening time we can grab a table at the front of the shop too that looks onto the street.

Yeah, you've probably guessed I live nearby..

All good Dave and Antony, I'm sure we will catch up in the near future.

Why don't we meet up somewhere and convoy in, for those of us that aren't around Lambton area, then meet Pete on the way in, put our cars in the park then go have coffee, it may be easier that way.

Like I said Martin I'm easy pleased :P I just threw that in, easy place to park and meet, but I personally would just rather drive to Lambton Park after meeting up somewhere and put the cars in the park then walk across to the café that Pete suggested and have a coffee or whatever there.

What about 7:45am meet at eastbound shell on Thomas St, Wallsend then off to park together if that's what everyone is doing.

Didn't know about that one Craig, maybe you should have posted it up.
