Uncle Posted 17April, 2014 Report Posted 17April, 2014 So I just put my entry into the Snowy Mountains 1000. Anyone else keen? Not a rocket science event but it is a load of good light harted fun. I ran it the first year it was on and won both my classes. Jim ran it last year and won both his classes so we need to keen up the Porsche dominance!
tk111 Posted 17April, 2014 Report Posted 17April, 2014 I'm in, but running the M3. It's better suited to this type of event.... Don't blame the player, blame the game..
9fan Posted 4May, 2014 Report Posted 4May, 2014 Would like to join you guy's but for me it would be at least a 3 day trip. At that time of year I am looking to do a long weekend Targa with the PFA so will pass. Enjoy !
9fan Posted 5May, 2014 Report Posted 5May, 2014 I know, already had other plans. Another sprint was on closer to home last year but decided a Tassie trip was going to be more of a Buzz. Too many events in November ! Good Luck.
SteamWolf Posted 7May, 2014 Report Posted 7May, 2014 Im going to try and book into the high country inn at cooma again
SteamWolf Posted 8May, 2014 Report Posted 8May, 2014 should we look at one of the dorm type rooms then? For me it depends on whether Jo will join us this year. Not sure she'd be happy in a room full of blokes unless other people are bringing their wives/girlfriends.
Tit Posted 8May, 2014 Report Posted 8May, 2014 Do you guys want to do anything in Canberra before or after the event? We can get some of the locals along for a brew.
Uncle Posted 9May, 2014 Author Report Posted 9May, 2014 To be honest Tit I'll just be setting waypoints for fuel and heading directly to Coma. Race the next day. Drink with the guys Saturday night and doing the same for the return trip. But as I said beers in the CO are on!
Tit Posted 9May, 2014 Report Posted 9May, 2014 Righto. Option two is to get some of the locals down to spectate.
SteamWolf Posted 12May, 2014 Report Posted 12May, 2014 I have just uploaded the Race magazine article for last year's event. http://racemagazine.com.au/events/2013-snowy-mountains-1000
