Rob Posted 17April, 2014 Report Share Posted 17April, 2014 Hello I registered for this forum a few years ago but got distracted by Rennlist etc, but after going on a couple of runs with the Brissie Air-Cooled group (thanks Scotty), I rediscovered the forum. It's really a breath of fresh air to read just Aussie content after the US-centric posts on Rennlist, Pelican etc, so I'm logging on daily to keep up with local news and views, and enjoying it! Now to my query: In January I bought a 1990 944T (952 to us) and although it has a very full set of receipts for maintenance, there isn't anything specifically mentioning a transmission fluid change. So, being a bit particular with my vehicle maintenance, I'm set to change the transmission oil. The car has the 220 LSD option and I was wondering what other members were using in their LSD Porsche transmissions? In my Google search for LSD oils, I came across Nulon's 85-140W LSD oil http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Gear_and_Differential_Oils/85W-140_Limited_Slip_Differential_Oil/#.U1BcT6I-f5w Has anyone used this? Thanks and Regards Rob

Rob Posted 18April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 18April, 2014 Thanks Paulyy, but Clarks doesn't mention LSD trans, which i believe require a different oil, probably because of the clutches in them? Rob
CBR944 Posted 22April, 2014 Report Share Posted 22April, 2014 Hi Rob. I'm using one of Nulon's standard transmission oil products (semi synthetic I think) in my 86 944T - no LSD. It's been fine, a little easier to shift when cold than the previous oil. Can't see why their LSD product wouldn't be similar.
