T-Man Posted 12May, 2014 Report Share Posted 12May, 2014 12" !!! did that tiny chip get worse. Yep. The chip was a couple of mm with cracks of maybe 7-8mm on either side. Before I knew, it ran across the screen. Opened up a massive can of worms as I've decided that while the screen is out I'll take the opportunity to have a small repair done. Not really in a hurry so it looks like I'll be of the road for most of the winter.

Jimmy Posted 12May, 2014 Report Share Posted 12May, 2014 ..............and if I'm not mistaken, the stone was flicked by a particular 996 TT in silver!!!!! Real sorry about that hope you have windscreen insurance. I've got battle scars from every major event. Tassie = massive stone chip on front guard. GOR = 15mm chip on drivers side windscreen. Canberra = Clipped a branch which hit & dented side panel.

LOL Not so much "scratching". More like a juggling act between, house reno's, paid work, family, shool sport taxi run and trying to do a bit of tinkering on the Porker before Sunday. No time for boredom Keep digging, Niko.
