12" !!! did that tiny chip get worse.

Yep. The chip was a couple of mm with cracks of maybe 7-8mm on either side.

Before I knew, it ran across the screen. Opened up a massive can of worms as I've decided that while the screen is out I'll take the opportunity to have a small repair done. Not really in a hurry so it looks like I'll be of the road for most of the winter.

..............and if I'm not mistaken, the stone was flicked by a particular 996 TT in silver!!!!!

Real sorry about that hope you have windscreen insurance.

I've got battle scars from every major event.

Tassie = massive stone chip on front guard.

GOR = 15mm chip on drivers side windscreen.

Canberra = Clipped a branch which hit & dented side panel.

Yes, a simple repair can often lead to those "necessary modifications".  ;)

...Harvs (still scratching)

Niko (digging a tunnel)

Hmmm, I like the sound of that. Let's see how the week plays out.

LOL Not so much "scratching".  More like a juggling act between, house reno's, paid work, family, shool sport taxi run and trying to do a bit of tinkering on the Porker before Sunday. No time for boredom :)

Keep digging, Niko.
