SteveT Posted 22May, 2014 Report Posted 22May, 2014 Hi, my 1976 Targa doesn't have a clock. Anyone have one or know where I can buy one from?
Caledonian Posted 22May, 2014 Report Posted 22May, 2014 At that price its worth it even if its only accurate twice a day:) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-Early-911-Clock-/171316215326?_trksid=p2054897.l5658
SteveT Posted 22May, 2014 Author Report Posted 22May, 2014 I was wondering if there was wiring for it behind the blank and then figured without wire it would be accurate twice a day. Looks weird with a blank so have asked if that one actually works or not. Thanks for the lead on the ebay listing.
twood Posted 22May, 2014 Report Posted 22May, 2014 Years ago my clock in a '76 Coupe stopped working. I ripped out the internals and mounted a $10 battery operated electric clock (same as in most cheap Chinese clocks you buy or look on eBay) mechanism into it. It was still working when I sold the car 8 years later.
