Finally, after a fair bit of work we've got a good venue for Cars 'n Coffee. They have a variety of sweets, pies, coffee and on Saturdays a Souvlaki Sizzle. Plenty of off and on street parking (and it's a very quiet street)

Start from 7:30am and until we get tired of talking

Location is Samios Fine Foods 37a Turbo Street Coorparoo - Map Here - https://goo.gl/maps/y7hP1

Hopefully we get some good numbers for this one! It's been a while in the making and is hopefully central enough for most people

I've had authorisation to open it to all cars (but as Cal said i'd prefer not to have 300 Golf GTI's there). I'm not sure how big we can get before we need to worry about liability insurance and get council approval. At this stage it is just a bunch of guys meeting up at a coffee shop for food/drink and a chat..

I'll get more information on this too

Theo the owner of Samios is going to bring his EH Holden

Whats the date?

Whoops its in the title 5th of July DoH

I think we should do it R Gruppe style with invite initially and see how it goes.

Not really feeling the BSCC taking it over from the start, no offence to them.

Nathan you better get your steering rack fixed before you plan to go anywhere, the way your luck has been going you would get stuck on the first roundabout :-)

We can't all have a great rack like you. Yes I'm in the process of sorting it out :)

Now that it's open to euro cars I can't wait to see how many cars Cal can drive there at once!

maybe we can organise a 'Cal's cars ferry service' to get them all there and back

if anyone has any opinions on anything feel free to share them, this is the first time I've done something like this and would be keen to make it bigger and better

Happy to help you with this Russ. It's something I've been thinking about for a while too. Hope you don't mind, I invited Cam with the 2002 and Ben with his 66 GTV. Thought they fitted the spirit of things.

I won't mention anything on BSCC - not my place to do so, just thought if you were after exotics it would help -

I look forward to seeing the event being a success, I've been holding out for a decent cars and coffee for years ..

In the states it's HUGE and I would love to see that same success here, a lot of which comes back to the venue of course ..

Damn, I've been waiting for something like this in Brisbane for a while. Unfortunately I'll be racing in Victoria that weekend so won't make it. Keen to hear how it goes and hopefully get an invite at some point :)
